Entry Requirements

Applicants should have been awarded both a Master’s Degree and a First or Upper Second Class Honours degree in any of the following programmes: Food Science, Food Science and Technology, Food Science and Nutrition, Food Processing Technology, Food Safety and Quality Control Management, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemistry, AppliedBiotechnology, Agricultural Sciences or any other relevant qualifications from a recognised institution. They should also have experience in the area of professional practice they wish to research or have satisfied the requirements for transfer from MPhil to PhD.
