Campus Security Services

Lupane State University Campus Security was established in 2007 with an initial staff complement of three security personnel, comprising of two security guards and one security supervisor, operating from the Ralytron Centre in Bulawayo. This strategic establishment enabled the university to assume security responsibilities from Masimba Private Security Company in 2009. Today, Campus Security is a fully-fledged internal security unit providing security services at the Lupane Main Campus and Bulawayo Campus (CBZ Building and Parkade). The section is headed by the Chief Security Officer, deputised by a Security Officer and assisted by seven security sergeants, with a secretary providing secretarial support.
