Qualifications:

1. Master of Commerce in Economics Degree
2. Bachelor of Science Special Honours Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation
3. Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Economics

Working experience, including past positions held

Lecturer in Economics, lecturing Development Economics, Research Methods,
Computer Packages and Statistical Analysis, Micro and Macroeconomics, Econometrics, International
Trade Theory and Policy, Environmental Economics, Public Sector Economics, Statistics for Economists,
and Quantitative Analysis for Business.

I strive to empower students with the skills and knowledge to
address real-world economic challenges. Other areas of interest include Development Economics, trade
and investment promotion, economic research, policy formulation, project evaluation, Livelihoods, and
data analytics.

I have experience in various capacities, including as an Investor Services and Research Officer at the
Zimbabwe Investment Development Agency, a Teaching Assistant at Midlands State University, and an
Economist with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. Skillfully blending research, teaching, and
practical experience, I am passionate about contributing to economic development through innovative
approaches and mentorship in academic settings.

Research Interests - 3 to 7 areas

Currently working on a research project on Zimbabwe's NDS1 alignment with the regional and global
targets in developing the National Competitiveness Strategy and National Competitiveness Strategy
roadmap (2024-2030).
Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in Zimbabwe: Challenges and Possible Remedies, 2024

Multi-sector Needs Assessment (MSA) in Tsholotsho and Bulilima Districts, Matabeleland North and
South Provinces, Zimbabwe 2023 – Funded by Care International.
Consultant project - End line Evaluation of "The Strengthening Competitiveness and Potential for Export
for Inclusive Value Chains in Zimbabwe (SCOPE4IVC)” project”, Welthungerhilfe (WHH) four districts
covered UMzingwani, Bubi, Gokwe South and Chivi from 24 July- 28 October 2023.
